Fantastic scooter, good construction and very robust. Fully satisfied. However, the bag of screws for assembly should be closed better as it was found open with screws and bolts scattered throughout the packaging, 3 bolts out of 4 lost.

I use the D4+ to commute on my college campus. It is a huge time saver. The D4+2.0 handles hills with ease and can be easily stored in my dorm room. I really enjoy riding it.

I been riding the D4+2.0 for 2 weeks I have 180 miles. I ride into Brooklyn from Staten Island ny with a ferry ride. The scooter is a comfortable ride perfect for me. Has good speed to pass people in the bike lane.

Overall great scooter for the price and great speed but I wish I had the option for street tires. The brakes came messed up so I only have the rear brakes and the brake pads have already ran down so I’m buying more and then all brakes will work. The buttons are weak and the headlight button broke already. Also it did not come with a air pump.

I have not taken it out for a long or off offroad trip yet. It makes noise when running over the bump. I also added a led strip light and a taillight to make it more visible at night. Will do the full review later.

Happy! So far my experience has been lengthy but rewarding as my D4+2.0 is an excellent scooter and Nanrobot's staff have been magnificent throughout. I live in both the UK and Greece, so delivery to my Greek address as eScooters are mostly illegal in the UK and Nanrobot can't deliver to non-EU countries. Sadly delivery was not a happy experience, thanks to UPS whom I will never use again if I can possibly avoid it! For info UPS handed off delivery to an excellent local company in Kefalonia, but without telling me or Nanrobot. Worse their 'tracking' information implied the scooter was waiting in Athens for me to pick up ...at my request!!! (not true). Sorted out in the end, no thanks to UPS! The Scooter? Solid, works very well, and I was away on some back trails within an hour of unboxing as it came fully charged. You do need to check over the whole scooter very carefully before you use it for the first time, as explained in the included instructions. (Check tire pressures!) I can highly recommend this model. The power, dual drive, and off-road tires came in very handy indeed. If you're intending on using a scooter in mountainous, off-road, environments a scooter as capable as this is a must. I'd call it splash resistant rather than waterproof so keep that in mind! Build quality seems pretty good and the scooter looks to be very solidly. It is worth noting there are some pretty sharp edges in places and while you won't cut yourself it will be well worth your while taking a small file to those edges that have cables passing near them. Also, I think the control module must have had an update since the manual was printed as the adjustment options are not as stated - not a big deal but I suspect tuning my scooter is going to require a lot of trial and error. This scooter is spectacularly cheap for what it is and these are only very minor issues. A little 'roughness' is to be expected and in my opinion not a reason to be put off buying this excellent machine. The scooter is far, far, better than I expected it to be. I managed to get a rear flat on my third time out so that put an end to play for the time being. No obvious sign of a puncture so I wonder if I forgot to check the tire was properly inflated, or maybe the valve is bad. (Did I mention checking everything thoroughly?) So I've invested in a bottle of 'Slime' and happily the innertubes are a standard size making buying replacements in the UK easy enough - no more UPS for me! Cautions: I'm 52 and have never owned an electric scooter before but still found getting the hang of my D4+2.0 pretty straightforward. I suspect my having an electric longboard helped, eScooters turn out to be an absolute doddle by comparison! It is pretty powerful and deserves a good deal of respect if you don't want to get in to trouble. The usual safety equipment and adherence to local laws are strongly advised! It's also very heavy, primarily because of the large battery pack which is a must in my opinion. Happily you don't feel the weight when riding it but you're not going to be 'scooting' far if you run out of batteries. The brakes are very-very good, especially if you have the electronic braking on full (default) so be careful! Do be aware the front and rear brakes are the 'wrong way round' for those of us who live outside Asia; either get used to it or swap them - I'd suggest swapping them if you own a bicycle as confusion will get you in to trouble sooner or later! All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase and am even more pleased with all the help and support provided by Nanrobot. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Johnmichael here, i love this scooter, however , the lever to fold the front half of the scooter is broken, the material used needs to be made a lot stronger due to the fact that the handle bar & it's assembly is constantly bobbing up & down i guess to make it more flexible. This silver looking lever on the left hand side needs replacing asap, where can i get a stringer replacement unit & how much would it cost? Last of all when i need new tires how much will it cost & where can i buy it, thank you, be blessed.

Easy to ride if you respect the speed.

Great scooter with one major flaw. That flaw is that there is no customer support or response. I ordered my D4+ and an extra charger on November 15th and it's now Feb 7th and I still don't have my extra charger. They won't return emails and the "Contact Us" voice mail is full and won't except new messages. This is unacceptable levels of customer service. While I love my scooter, when my friend was gonna purchase one I turned him on to Boosted instead. I'm also going with Boosted for my wife's scooter in a few months too which is sad because I feel this is more scoot for the money. I can't stand not getting products I paid for though and you shouldn't either.

Love the scooters, they have great power, only issue has been that both scooters have stopped working with 2 battery bars. 1st time happened to me and second time happened to my wife. both scooters were fully charged each time. looking to try them out again to see if it happens again.

Exceeded my expectations in size, the materials and finishes are of excellent quality, the power is excellent and that I have not tried modes 2 and 3, only in mode 1 has good starting strength and speed, a safe and very satisfied purchase with the D4 + 2.0.

Shipped quickly, no parts were broken and everything worked fine. Built tough and very quite runs fast and plenty of power. I mainly just you one motor. Over all it a great buy for the price. You get a lot for your money. Will make a great commuter if you don’t need to lift it often. It is heavy. If you want a scooter to take in your car daily chose a lighter one if not this one has everything you need.

Super fast , well built over 100 miles with no issues . I love my scooter going to buy one for my wife.

The scooter is amazing. Very quick and great build quality. My only criticism is that the folding mechanism has some movement in it. When you apply the front brake, it moves. A small movement at the hinge translates to a disconcerting amount of movement at the handlebars. I find I mostly use the rear brake or ‘prepare’ myself for this movement if using the front brake. I have also deactivated the engine braking as it was too strong. As I get more used to the scooter I might try re-activating it on a lower setting. Overall this is a fun, strong, and eye catching scooter.

Feels Solid! I'm still waiting for my 2nd Charger and its been 2 weeks and i haven't got them yet. On the photo, saw a guy riding a Electric Bike but this D4+ was way faster. Love it.

I was on the market for a scooter for New York City. Before buying I went to Kansas City to visit a salt mine and because they have Bird. Bird is a service where you find a scooter (via GPS) using the Bird app on your smart phone. You scan the QR code which unlocks the scooter and you scoot away. After many uses I learned a few things. 1) I want a scooter, 2) I want big pneumatic tires, 3) A suspension is important, and 4) disc brakes in addition to regenerative braking. I searched the internet, made a spreadsheet, found a shop in NY where I was able test ride a scooter "like" the D4+. Went home and ordered a D4+. Shipping was fast, it arrived on my birthday. Out of the box, ran through (with care) the setup instructions and plugged it in. Next day did some test riding. I modified the regenerative braking and enabled cruise control. check the tire pressure and was off. I haven't gotten out of Eco Mode or 1st gear yet. I want to hit a few road hazards for the experience before moving to dual motors, Turbo Mode and 3rd gear. I bunch of my friends are already signing up for test rides. This is not a toy. It will give me more options on getting around NYC where parking is hard, subways are packed and buses just aren't my thing. Cabs are also getting really expensive. Using my rational brain my Nanrobot will pay for itself in a week. Ok, not a week but the economics make sense. I often need to go from lower Manhattan into Williamsburg. I've been doing it by bike, car and motorcycle. Biking is hard and long and hot. Parking in Williamsburg for a car is impossible and even finding a place to park a motorcycle isn't easy. I'll get a photo posted soon. Oh yeah, wear a helmet...

This scooter is the real deal. Motors are super strong. I weigh 240 lbs. and I can climb hills without hesitation. Off-road is so much fun. I rented scooters in DC a few weeks back. They are rated for around 220 lbs. My wife and I actually double rode them all around. On flat surface we could hit like 10mph and pretty much had to walk up hills. Now we get on the Nanrobot together and if she'd let me I could easily get it to 30mph on flat ground and around 16-18mph up steep hills. Almost forgot to mention the shipping. I ordered with the expedited shipping option and actually found a $60 off coupon on the web. Order was placed 11pm Monday night. I received the scooter Thursday morning. Super fast packed right. the scooter is superior than any scooter sold in the US. This scooter has great performances speed, battery life, dual motors, disk breaks. I am going to use it a lot and leave another review in 2 months downside: the charger (make it US friendly please) and the weight of the scooter

First of all, arrived in good shape and was easy to ready for riding. Instructions are a little weak, but passable. Wish there were more instructions involving what different settings do and capabilities. I have owned a Swagtron Swagger 5, and a Mi365 and have ridden Segway Ninebot S4, Mercane wide wheel scooter and a Q1 Hummer. This scooter blows them all away in terms of speed, handling and comfort of ride. Scary fast, but feels smooth and in control. Had it up to 42MPH on a downhill bicycle lane. Friend had an accident on it last night, we reached out to Nanrobot for service and they responded within a hour even though it wasn't their fault and they had no responsibility whatsoever. I am assuming that their response would be even speedier were it a warranty issue. Super stoked about the entire experience, thus far. Thank you Nanrobot.

This scooter is everything as advertised. One aspect which doesn't get fanfare because of the potential speed is the scooter has the ability to slow down to regular ride-share scooter speed should the rider wish. No other product on the market offers that breadth of options. Combined with the suspension and wheel quality, this is the best product on the market in my opinion.

Arrived in good condition exactly two weeks after I placed the order. The scooter feels solid and sturdy. It is fast and has strong torque. The speedometer on the controller is way off though. It is displaying much higher speeds than reality. Also, the throttle is not smooth. It kind of jumps and jolts even as you press it very slowly. I am thinking that my controller is defective. I emailed Nanrobot to see if it can be adjusted or fixed. Waiting on a reply. Otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

I've only had it a week but so far I love it. this thing is a beast. I was deciding between the d4+ and one of the bigger models and I'm glad I went with the d4. It's what you need for city commuting and maybe some off roading. This thing makes the "bird" and "lime" scooters look like kids play. I've been riding it to and from work which is about 6 miles away in Los Angeles and I get to work faster than I would with a car. I've been able to go back and forth from work 3X which is about 36 miles range without it dying. The range from what I can tell is between 20-40 miles based on how you drive (eco mode / turbo / one motor vs 2 motor). It's easy to change the settings. I'm still a little confused with the eco/trubo button, I cant tell when it's on or off or what it does. I suggest the 2 motor option if your going to be climbing hills or driving with cars. you can deff hurt yourself on this. I'm 220lbs and I hit 35 miles per hour before I slowed down.. it wanted to keep going. I suggest going into the settings and adusting the settings to throttle your speed a bit. I drop my from full powr 100% to 80% and it's still too fast (in a good way). It is heavy and not the most portable. I have a muscular frame (football) so I am able to fold it and carry it for a quick 1-2 minute walk into the office, but no way your carrying this up stairs. Like I said this is just the 1st week assessment but so far 5 stars and impressed. Hoping the battery keeps it'svalue or is easily exchanged in a few years. Cheers.
