The C1 comes with an IP64 waterproof rating, which is higher than many competitors in this price range. It also features a unique silicone waterproof deck that is easy to clean and provides extra grip. While we don't recommend riding through deep puddles, it is built to handle light rain and wet roads without breaking a sweat.
Does the C1 have enough braking power for high-traffic areas?
Yes, safety is a standout feature here. The C1 utilizes a rear disc brake combined with an Electronic Braking System (EBS). This dual-braking setup provides a progressive and firm stop, ensuring you can react quickly to sudden traffic changes or pedestrians on busy city sidewalks.
What is the real-world range for a typical suburban commute?
The C1 is equipped with a high-efficiency 48V 10.4Ah battery, providing a maximum range of 24-28 miles. In real-world US conditions (varying speeds and slight inclines), most riders will comfortably get 18-22 miles per charge. This is more than enough for the average round-trip commute without needing to bring your charger to the office.
How fast can I fold the C1 when catching a bus or stowing it in my car?
The C1 features an innovative one-second folding mechanism. It is designed for the fast-paced commuter; you can transition from riding to carrying almost instantly.
Is the 500W motor powerful enough for a 200lb rider?
Absolutely. While the motor is rated at 500W, it provides excellent torque for its class, supporting a maximum load of 260 lbs. Even for larger riders, the C1 maintains brisk acceleration and can reach its 25 mph top speed efficiently, making it a reliable daily driver for most American adults.

My 7 year old got this scooter for Christmas and he loves it. I think it’s much better than the ones geared specifically for kids bc it is heavy and study and the wheels absorb some shock. He is able to control it and ride it just fine. It’s not too big for him. This is what you should get instead of getting a cheap one at target or Best Buy. The app for the scooter is also very helpful as a parent bc I can limit the speed and child lock the scooter when I don’t want him riding. So pleased with this scooter!
It’s my first e scooter and a Few days with it, I weight around 180 and still able to get the advertised speed at 25Mph at full charge. after a few trips around I still have full bar I’m loving this e scooter and the acceleration take off is great same with the brakes are nice and comfortable
I loved it, good speed, very comfortable, although it doesn't have shock absorbers the tires make up for it, although at maximum speed you have to be careful on the bumps, the battery is excellent and the braking feels good although it could be better, but everything is excellent, I highly recommend this scooter.
Have been commuting daily for a few weeks now and each ride is so much more fun and relaxing than driving by car. Great design looks sharp, rides comfortably and handles well on roads and trails. Wish my commute was actually a bit longer now!
I was skeptical at first but was surprised at how durable it was.The materials feel solid and the scooter holds up surprisingly well to daily use.Thank you Nanrobot for creating such a quality product!
The materials used are obviously high quality and you can feel it.I've driven it a few times and it seems to have decent durability.I'm very impressed!
Very easy to use.I love how streamlined everything is,even the one-step folding mechanism. Not only does the scooter run smoothly, but it's also intuitive to operate.
I have always been an advocate for eco-friendly transportation and the Nanrobot electric scooter is perfect for this. Not only is it fun and efficient, but it is also sustainable. It is definitely the way of the future!
This is a great scooter for my son in College. Easy to get from classes and to work. No worries on finding a parking spot. A very nimble scooter and not to heavy to take into the dorm.
Having owned a beginner scooter, this guy is awesome. Great build and design with plenty of built in options. The performance is toxic and the ability to tone it down is a great feature. This is one of the best scooters I’ve found and well worth the price.
I absolutely love the compact design of this small scooter! It's incredibly lightweight and folds up effortlessly, making it the perfect companion for my daily commute. The convenience factor is through the roof!
I cannot explain the joy I have owning it. I have let a few of my friends try it, I see them scoot away, then as they are coming back they have a HUGE grin on their face.
The Nanrobot C1 is the right scooter for the busy college student. Finding a parking spot is no longer a problem. It is also not to heavy to carry to the dorm or bring on an elevator. My son loves it.
I'm still working with the support team. The scooter, at full charge on a flat road with no wind, is unable to get up to the full listed speed of 25MPH. It's a little underwhelming. I came looking for this because Caroma no longer sells their C1.
Your website lists the only difference between the C1 2.0 and 3.0 as "app control" which I didn't need.
Your support team is now telling me the following:
"The Caroma C1 corresponds to the C1 3.0 version and offers slightly better performance than the C1 2.0; this explains the price difference between the C1 3.0 and the C1 2.0."
However, the advertising on the website only lists "app control" as the difference.
Its appearance really appeals to me! The low-range version is perfect for daily commutes. The compact body folds easily, and the understated colorways look nice. It’s more than sufficient for short urban trips and offers great value for money.
Great commuter e‑scooter! Fast fold for trunk storage. 500W motor handles hills easily. Self‑healing tires save me from flat tires. True‑to‑spec range, reliable brakes, very stable ride. Would recommend!
Bought the C1 for my daily commute and I’m really liking it. I used to take the bus and it took forever, now I can get to work way quicker. It’s also pretty easy to carry compared with the bigger scooters I looked at. Battery life has been good for my usual rides.
Zips around the neighborhood great and the suspension feels decent on rough spots. Folds up super easy when I need to toss it in the trunk. Definitely gets the job done.
I like this scooter, its the 3rd I have owned and its great that the stand is so well balanced I dont have to do anything to brace it to stay upright even with all the bumps on the train. Regen’ braking is of course so nice as well.I am 6’ 1” and Deck is a little snug and it too me a minute to figure out how to get it to go full speed.
I was drawn to its appearance at first glance. Assembly is hassle-free and takes only a few minutes. The scooter rides steadily and handles small slopes with ease. Its battery life matches the advertised range; I only need to charge it every three or four days for my short commute to and from work.
The C1 is a pretty nice middle ground for me. I wanted something more capable than a basic commuter scooter but didn’t want one of those huge dual-motor monsters. This one feels quick enough for city riding and it’s still manageable when I need to move it around.
Its battery life and speed parameters are impressive. It features a premium mecha-style appearance with an easy-to-operate folding frame that makes transportation effortless.
