What is the weight limit for a rider?
The K1 is engineered for a maximum weight of 110 lbs (50kg). While the frame is sturdy enough for most kids aged 6-12, we recommend staying within this limit to ensure the 120W motor performs efficiently and the braking system stays responsive.

How hard is the assembly? Do I need a full toolbox?
Not at all. We know parents are busy, so the K1 comes 90% pre-assembled. You’ll just need to slide the handlebar into the stem and tighten a few bolts with the included Allen wrench. You can go from unboxing to riding in under 10 minutes.

What is the real-world battery life? Will it die halfway through a walk?
The K1 is equipped with a high-capacity battery designed for neighborhood play. On a full charge, most riders get about 5-7 miles of range. While factors like rider weight and hills can affect performance, it has plenty of juice for a solid afternoon session around the block or at the park.

Is the K1 safe for a 6 or 7-year-old who’s a total beginner?
Definitely. The K1 is designed specifically as an entry-level electric scooter. It features a "kick-to-start" safety mechanism, meaning the motor won't engage until the rider is already moving, preventing accidental take-offs. With a controlled top speed of 8 MPH, it’s fast enough to be thrilling but slow enough for parents to keep pace. The rear fender brake is also super intuitive for kids transitioning from a traditional kick scooter.
