Awesome scooter. We got them for the beach and just took them out. Been riding with my son all week. They are amazing. Go forever before charging. They are also very powerful and very quick. Got it up to 35 mph and it had a good bit more left to go. So much fun. And it goes over anything
Upgraded from the D4+ and it was worth every penny I owned the previous D4+ and loved it, so I wasn't sure the MAX would feel like much of a step up. It absolutely does. The first thing you notice is the suspension — it's noticeably softer than the older D4+. Cracks, expansion joints and rough pavement that used to rattle through the deck now just get absorbed. Long rides are far less tiring because of it. The braking is spectacular. It bites hard, it's predictable, and it stops the scooter in a much shorter distance than I expected for something this heavy and this fast. It gives you a lot of confidence to ride at speed. Overall the ride quality is just smooth. Everything feels more refined and better sorted than the previous generation. I'm very happy with this scooter and I'd recommend the D4+ MAX to anyone considering the upgrade.

I'm 74 year old never to old to have fun ,got it for camping riding around campground, trails, and race old people on there E bikes. D4+ max will haul ass much more fun then E bike lighter and folds down small to fit in my suv with camping gear really enjoy it.

The D4+MAX is fun and fast to ride too. make sure to worry a helmet though lowkey but other than that is fine to ride
This scooter is amazing to ride and for the budget of around 1000 bucks, you can’t get something better than this. It is truly insane how this is only $1000. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a bang for their buck rather than spending $1000 on cheap electric scooters claiming to go faster than this cause you’re not gonna get faster than 42 miles an hour. The display is not showing the correct speed currently but on a Speedometer app I hit 42 with no problem.

This scooter is a beast, I’ve already put 20+ miles on it and I couldn’t be happier, the front fender arrived bent ,but they say they would send me a new one, I only ride it on single motor and second gear and was expecting a bit more of battery since I’m only 144lb but aside from that ,everything’s going as pretty well , great service! The D4+MAX is the first E-scooter for me. I recently became interested in them while looking at YouTube videos. Nanrobot was highly regarded for their customer service as well as performance. It was the customer service part that made my desicion to buy from them. I originally ordered a blue one, but was informed it was out of stock, so I agreed to red. I've put over a 100 miles on it so far, both on paved bike paths and crushed stone/gravel bike paths. If you ride often on bumpy surfaces, check that your motor wires have not moved. A few zipties hold them in place and one had slipped on mine. Easily fixed but you don't want the wire contacting the spinning wheel as it may abraid. Overall, I'm impressed, it's fast (I ride mostly level 1 with dual motors on bike path). That is about 16-17mph. I use level 2 now and then to cruze to 25-26mph. Feels very fast, like surfing on the ground. I admit that I haven't tried level 3 yet because on a bike path, you should keep the speed down so bikers don't become annoyed. I also wanted to maximize my range. I consistantly was getting about 32miles with only 1 or 2 battery bars left. Super fun addition to bikes for me. I'm 58 yo male recently retired.
Dear Nanrobot, The Nanrobot D4 Max arrived within a week and very well packed. All items were accounted for. The scooter seems to be very well built and high quality. It was simple to remove from the packaging and then set up. All items function as described ( lights , signals, horn and display) She rides extremely smooth and aggressively off road. In short, I love the scooter and would easily recommend it. I call her “ Nanny “ The front fender was bent behind the tire upon arrival, I removed and heated to straighten it. It still has a little bend in it. Just wanted to fully disclose.
So I was always looking for a good scooter for 1000 to 1200 and this was perfect, absolutely perfect, I heard of nanrobot from a friend he has the d4+3.0 with 150k miles and has only had to replace his throttle because he tipped it over on A rock but other wise no problems so I thought huh I am going to get a nanrobot and there are like no videos on how good this scooter is it isn't even mentioned for its price but I guarantee you will love this scooter I have had mine for roughly a week and already have 500 miles because I ride it so much. My favorite feature is the EBS electric braking system is is so good I can bomb down a huge hill and my brakes a barely warm at the end that is how little is uses the hydrolic brakes just the EBS is that good. And the screen is really bright unlike you can see in YouTube videos and it is bigger and way stronger than it looks the acceleration is so good even on slow start. They delivered this 4 days earlier than they said and it was packaged really well

I've driven it 60 miles so far. In very tough rooty terrain. I want to make sure im getting my moneys worth and it exceeds my expectations, you can get through most places in and out pretty quickly. but in all the D4 is an incredible amount of scooter you get for the price. Built well.

It easily gets me uphills at around 200 lbs. Everything is secured in place giving a sense of security while riding. The lighting is significantly better than what I'd expected. I don't feel the need to add extra lighting. The suspension was stiff upon unboxing so be sure to adjust those to your preference. I was able to dial in the suspension to have a cushy ride. Also, I needed to adjust the torque using the "P settings". Mine was initially way too torquey to ride but now it's just right. I'm in awe right now. Overall, great buy at $1049 for this D4+MAX in NANROBOT 10th anniversary!!
After much research and watching reviews on electric scooters, I bought the Nanrobot D4+ Max and I do not regret the purchase. I would recommend the Nanrobot for anyone that is serious about quality and performance and it has amazing acceleration, speed, agility straight out of the box! Highly recommend!
The D4+MAX Electric Scooter is a fantastic upgrade unit. It’s smooth and quick. Hydraulic brakes are responsive and the battery, the handle bars and the display are so much better than before . We love them, also the off-road tires are really nice and don’t make too much noise and provide a very smooth ride. We have had no problems with it and I would ride one anywhere any day!
The Nanrobot d4+max is awesome! Acceleration is excellent, hill climbing is terrific in dual motor mode, shocks are smooth responsive. Overall it’s a really nice e-scooter. Not quite as fast as claimed though: I weigh 160lbs and the top speed max appears to be right about 35mph not 40-42 as stated.
As a bigger guy this scooter still manages to get me all the way up to 38mph on a full charge. So far loving this thing. I’ve rode motorcycles going 160+ but the thrill this thing gives is similar to that and for that I’m grateful. So much fun 🤩 10/10
Wow! This scooter is truly amazing. My family owns three e-bikes and four e-scooters. My wife and I started this adventure with two folding e-bikes in 2018. Back then, the most power available was 350 watts. That turned out to be perfect for cruising the paths and city streets of Palm Springs for a couple of 70 year olds. Soon I longed for something different, a bit more thrilling. A scooter ?? In 2020 I bought a 2x 800 watt scooter. Now we're talking. A little scary at first, but soon my e-bike was getting cobwebs. I got my wife a modest 500 watt scooter, and my two 9 year old granddaughters scooters as well. Now we're really talking. Then my scooter died. Something in the electronics gave out. After a year of essentially NO customer service 😠 and no resolve, I started a diligent search for a new scooter. After careful consideration I chose the NANROBOT D4 3.0. After unboxing and a few test rides I KNOW I made a GREAT choice. It arrived in about 5 days and in PERFECT condition. Thank heavens for double boxing. There was no manual inside, but during my research, I found all the videos that cover most every subject about this scooter. The included multi-tool is cute but pretty worthless. A long allen key made the handle bars installation easy. I also needed a 7mm end wrench to install the rear fender. After tightening a few other parts and a two hour (top off) charge, I was good to go. On dual motor, it is scary quick. The throttle and e-brake seem much smoother then on my failed scooter. As a precaution I did turn down the "gain" in p-setting 8 to 75%. That limits top end to about 30mph and the "launch" to something I felt safe with. The preload on the shocks seemed perfect for a 170# dude, lots of travel, very smooth. The stem has three heights. The lowest out of the box seems perfect at 5'7" and very solid. The "new" center display is bright and easy to read. The 3-button control is very easy to use. My failed scooter had remote security (I think that is what failed) , some have NFC security, I like having a KEY. I rarely needed/used dual motor on my failed scooter. It was 52v and 20 AH, and I got nearly 40 miles scooting conservatively. I will no doubt get even greater range on the D4 3.0 There are a lot of scooter choices now. Some may be faster and better suited to daily arterial commuting, but if you are looking for something cool looking, solid, nimble enough for paths and sidewalks, and enough power for city streets, the NANROBOT D4 3.0 looks to be a very smart choice.
I purchased on Wednesday and it arrived 2 days later which was awesom. It was double boxed so everything was intack with no shipping damage. This is well built with a solid platform. This thing rips! Definitely powerful, you have to give it your full attention or it could toss ya. I do have one gripe and that is that it would be 100% safer to have a thumb throttle or a option to buy one. Having the throttle and the brake on the same side makes you use the strongest finger off the grip to give throttle. Other then that this D4 is a beast!
I've owned a Varla eagle one, zero 10 x. And my Nanrobot 3.0 is a night and day difference. My favorite part. The stem. It's unreal how much stronger and solid it is compared to the others. No wobble. No creaking. The LCD screen is also another favorite. The suspension is topnotch. Right away on my first ride. I couldn't believe the difference. Felt so solid all around. And customer support is also second to none.
